Top Rioja producer Ramón Bilbao is inviting Consumers to bring a little tlc right to the heart of its wines with its first ever social media campaign in the UK – Mirta & You.
Wine lovers are being invited to send Twitter and Facebook messages of encouragement to Ramón Bilbao’s high altitude vines – Mirta – in a bid to inspire their happy and healthy growth now that the 2014 harvest has finished. The most encouraging messages will win a case of wine, and consumers can also adopt and name their own vine with the most original entry gaining a dedicated placard in the heart of the vineyards.
Visitors to http://en.mirtaandyou.com will also find four films dedicated to some of the UK’s most inspirational bloggers – food writers Helen Graves, Victoria Ferran and Chris Pople, and the wine trade’s very own Robert McIntosh. The first film is already available to view, with the others released over the coming weeks. The campaigns runs until XX December 2014.
